Cowork capabilities are rolling into normal chats. Less switching between modes.

Make the deliverable

Create and edit documents, slide decks and designs inside a conversation.

Bring your context

Existing projects, connectors and skills carry into the new experience.

“Turn this week's sales sheet into a one-page summary and five slides for my team.”

Cowork rollout: gradual on Pro/Max, web, desktop and mobile. Document/design/slide artifacts: all plans; Enterprise requires enablement. Claude release notes ↗

What this means for your business

It is easier to start.
Now is a great time to build.

Better tools and lower usage costs make small automation experiments more practical.

Choose one repeat job

A weekly report. A lead summary. A draft customer reply.

Show a good example

Provide the inputs, explain the result, and let Claude make a first version.

Test, then repeat

Check accuracy. Measure time saved. Connect and schedule the steps that work.

Today's goal: one useful task you can stop doing by hand.

Workshop takeaway from the September updates. Connected apps and recurring workflows still need setup and testing.

The economics of intelligence: what changes when execution becomes cheap?
Facebook took about 4.5 years to reach 100 million users. ChatGPT took about two months, roughly 27 times faster, and reached more than 900 million weekly users by February 2026.
AI can potentially automate 25 percent of U.S. work hours.
Businesses are already reorganizing around AI, automation, and changing workforce needs.
The next 12 months matter more than 2035: six in ten expect AI to handle a larger share of their work next year.
Chatbots answer; agents execute.
Jonny at the center of the assets AI amplifies: brand, audience, data, distribution, and systems.
Two companies in the same market with different economics: one scales headcount and the other scales capability.
Jonny demonstrates the owner's new role: setting goals, standards, priorities, and constraints.
Today we are building your AI operating system with business context, connected agents, reusable assets, and phone control.

The Shift

But here's what Claude can actually do for you.

Capability 1 - Build a custom business tool from scratch. A real dashboard, built by AI in 5 minutes, no coding.

Capability 7 - Build the tool your business actually needs. Start with one useful problem and build the first working version today.

Real example · My Last 30 Days

Claude runs 3 businesses for me

Business 1

My Coaching Business

Growing my email list & making money on autopilot.

Business 3

AI CEOs

An automated growth engine built end to end.

This would normally need a team of 8 to 10 people across 3 companies.

I built all of this. Me. One person. Using Claude.

The AI CEO - You command. They execute. Builder (Tools & Apps), Analyst (Data & Reports), Automator (Workflows), Content Pro (Viral Strategy), Support (Customers).
The Fear Everyone Has - Will AI replace me? Jensen Huang and Karim Lakhani quotes. The people in this room? You're on the right side.
Why business owners use Claude: one subscription, ready when you are, learns your context, repeats boring work, grows with the job, and keeps you in control.
Your #1 skill in 2026? Learning how to communicate with your AI team. Tell them what you want. They build it. You grow.

Who is excited to learn
some of this today?

The Claude Pyramid - Let's Climb. Three levels, we start at the bottom and work our way up. Level 1 Know Claude, Level 2 Work with Claude, Level 3 Build with Claude.
One AI, three ways to work: Chat means think with me, Cowork means do this for me, and Claude Code means build this for me.
Start with the output you want: open Chat for an answer or draft, Cowork for finished business work, and Claude Code for a system that keeps working.

First exercise · Step 1 of 2

Give Claude a home for your business.

A Project is a folder Claude remembers. Every chat inside it already knows your business, your tone and your files.

1. Go to claude.ai/projects (or click Projects in the left sidebar)
2. Click + New Project → name it after your business → Create project
3. Click Set project instructions → paste the text below → Save instructions
You are my business assistant. Always use the AI-CEO-CONTEXT file in this project before answering. Give practical, step-by-step answers I can use today. Keep it short. If important information is missing, ask me one clear question. Never invent facts about my business.

First exercise · Step 2 of 2

Load your AI-CEO-CONTEXT file.

The file you made in the questionnaire is your business brain. Give it to Claude once. It's used in every chat in this Project.

4. In your Project, click + next to Files (Project knowledge) → Upload from device
5. Choose AI-CEO-CONTEXT.md from your Downloads folder
6. Start a chat inside the Project and paste this:
Read my AI-CEO-CONTEXT file. In 5 short bullet points, tell me what you understand about my business. Then suggest the 3 tasks you could take off my plate this week, starting with the one that saves the most time.

No file? Open ai-ceo-context-builder.ywest.chatgpt.site (6 minutes), or type 5 lines about your business into Project instructions.

Before we go further · AI safety

5 habits that keep your business safe.

1. Never paste secrets. No passwords, ID or passport numbers, card or bank details, API keys.
2. Anonymise people. Use "Customer A" instead of names, phones and emails. Never paste patient or health data.
3. Check before you send. Claude can be confidently wrong. Verify numbers, prices, dates, and anything legal, tax or medical.
4. Connect only what you need. Give each connector the least access that does the job. Disconnect what you stop using.
5. You approve the actions. Read what Claude will send, delete or pay for before you click yes.

AI safety · Your questions answered

"But is it safe?"

Does Claude train on my chats?
Free, Pro and Max: only if Help improve Claude is on. Turn it off in Settings → Privacy. Team and Enterprise plans are not used for training.
Can other people see my Project?
No. On personal plans your chats and Projects are private to your account unless you share a link.
What can a connector do?
Only what you sign in and approve. Claude asks before sensitive actions. Remove it anytime in Settings → Connectors.
Is it PDPA-compliant?
That depends on what you share. The tool doesn't make you compliant; your habits do. Anonymise customer data.
Will it make mistakes?
Yes, sometimes. Treat it like a fast new employee: great first drafts, and you check the final version.
Will it replace my staff?
It takes repeated tasks off their plate. People still own the customer, the judgement and the decision.

Easy Trick

Ask Claude to show you

Say “Show me how ___ works as an interactive chart” and Claude builds a live visual inside the chat. Works on every plan, on claude.ai and the desktop app (not the phone app yet).

Claude custom visual showing an interactive compound interest calculator

"Show me how compound interest works as an interactive chart with sliders. Start with ฿100,000 at 7% for 20 years."

Only got text? Reply: "Draw this as an interactive chart."

Your turn

Open Claude. Type "Show me..."

📈 "Show me how compound interest works as an interactive chart with sliders"

💰 "Show me how profit margin works as an interactive calculator"

📅 "Show me a monthly budget planner"

🎓 "Show me my monthly expenses as a chart: rent ฿30k, staff ฿80k, ads ฿20k, software ฿5k"

What to do on Monday.

1. Open your Project. Start every business chat inside it, so Claude already knows you.
2. Pick one repeated task. Use one of the 3 tasks Claude suggested this morning.
3. Run it with Claude every week. Same prompt, same files. Fix the prompt until the result needs almost no editing.
4. Then automate it. Connect the app it needs and schedule it, so it happens without you.

One task. Every week. That's how the time savings add up.

Thank you.

Now go build something that makes money.
